Tagad, kad vakar vakarā atkorķēju Užavas gaišo, varu uz visu situāciju paskatīties ar humoru, taču pirms tam vakar man smiekli nenāca.. Šis, gan, nebūs ierastais nopietnais nodokļu tematu blogs.
Strange story: I did the long course (course 8) but we had the same sequence 7-8-9-10. I also went straight through the green for number 8 (worked out fine since followed a trail straight to it), but for 9-10, also decided to go through the green. Terrible mistake, since extremely thick, and I also lost my glasses! Looked for about 10min but glasses being brown did not help. I could hardly see the map well enough to get back to the finish and also had to DSQ. Also found the furrows tough in the grassy logged areas. Footing invisible and always changing under the deep grass. Anyway, glad that my 14 year old son Markus successfully completed this tough M16 course (his first), with much more conservative route choices.

Wow, what a coincidence! How did you bump into my story, Ian?
My brother Peter Folkins sent me the link. Hope to see you at more Magnets. We try to go to most of the Tuesday/Thursday ones.
